Energy Management

Energy Studies / Audits

We perform in depth energy audits (studies) for churches, seminaries, colleges and schools. Typically our second largest budget item behind salaries is utility and facility cost. Yet according to EPA 30% of the energy we use is wasted. This means that up to 30% of our energy use can be saved through no cost behavior change. We have performed over 5,000 in depth audits, and agree, you do not necessarily have to spend money to save money.

The average facility manager (and sometimes the facility manager is the pastor:) wears numerous hats, as a result the facility is in reactive mode verses proactive mode, there are a number of reasons for this (time, resources, etc). Our studies assist with uncovering energy use within the facility and identifying a plan to save in a number of ways (no cost, low cost and capital expense). We are a neutral third party, our audits/studies, are not written as a means to sell a service or a product. Our mission is missions, and the more energy saved, is resources that can be poured back into ministry.

We perform both onsite and virtual energy audits.

THE SECOND LARGEST BUDGET ITEM AT MOST RELIGIOUS FACILITIES IS THE COST SPENT ON ENERGY & MAINTENANCE. ACCORDING TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY, 30% OF THE ENERGY WE CONSUME IS WASTED. THIS MEANS THAT 30% OF THE MONEY SPENT ON UTILITIES TODAY CAN BE RECAPTURED THROUGH NO COST OR LOW ENERGY SAVING COST STRATEGIES.
